STATE OF THE ART
The installation consisted of two unjacketed L22 compressors. The hot air was exhausted directly into the room. The high temperature caused the compressors to fail repeatedly. The installation of a new production line and the presence of numerous leaks in the network of the manufacturing workshop have accentuated the problem due to the increased demand on the compressors.
SOLUTIONS PROVIDED
Installation of a ducting allowing the evacuation of hot air outside the room. Analysis of the needs for optimal pressure adjustment. Accompaniment to the realization of a leakage campaign on the network of the manufacturing workshop.
RESULTS
Energy saving due to pressure reduction. Reduction of 5 to 10° of the compressor temperature to avoid faulty operation.
