How a chilled water plant works
The chilled water plant consists of a compressor, an evaporator and a condenser. Thanks to the combination of two processes, the use of air or water calories and the sending of a refrigerant, this plant will produce chilled water.
This chilled water will circulate through pipes to supply other machines such as fan coils, air handling units or exchangers.

Air-cooled
The air-cooled chillers work thanks to the calories in the air which are used to cool the water, which is then sent to the emitters. This type of plant is used for outdoor installations where water is not available for cooling. This system has the advantage of presenting no risk of legionellosis.
Water-Cooled Condensing
Water-cooled chillers where the calories from the water are used to produce chilled water. These chillers are the most efficient and economical in their class.
